I wore the number 4 as a basketball player, my address starts with a 4, I grew up in district 13 (1+3=4), you get the point. #4MYNEGUSANDMYBISHES's title was stolen from Spike Lee's show "She's Gotta Have It", which is actually the 5th episode, f*cking up my number thing.
This album took two plus years to conceptualize, produce, write, record, sequence, mix and master. Shoutout to my b*tch a** engineer Colieff "Chieffy360" Morgan, who did a crap job at recording my poor vocals. Shoutouts to all the hoe a** people that produced and featured on this crap shoot. A lot of blood, sweat and tear went into this. I almost quit a few times and still thinking about it till this day. Please tell if I'm tripping or not, thank you...

4 is constantly popping up in my life and now it's popping up in my music as well. 4 is the foundation of music, with there being 4 counts in a measure. There are 4 winds, 4 phases of the moon, 4 four seasons in a year, 4 cardinal points: east – west – north –south, 4 elements: air – fire – water – earth, 4 leaf clovers, 4 presidents got bodied in office, Happy 4th of July! The number 4 is just a perfect number. The number 4 is the number of the earth, mankind, the cross, the number of the square (Tesseract=Space), the number of sides on any pyramid. The number 4 symbolizes building a strong foundation. And thats what we all are trying to accomplish. But at the same time 4 also stands for change. An angel appeared to Joseph in a dream four times, and each time the angel told him to make change or a move that would distrupt his current way of living. To have a solid foundation while remaining nomadic is truely how we should live. Balanced...
